Job Summary

MEW is seeking a Production Engineer to manage and streamline manufacturing operations at its Kanpur facility. The role involves production planning, shop-floor supervision, quality coordination, and continuous improvement to ensure timely and compliant delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Shop-Floor Management

Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet delivery targets. Supervise fabrication, machining, assembly, finishing, and testing activities. Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials. Monitor production output and resolve shop-floor issues promptly.
Quality & Compliance

Ensure production strictly adheres to approved drawings, specifications, and SOPs. Coordinate with Quality Control and inspection agencies (DGQA / DQA / third-party). Reduce rejection, rework, and wastage through corrective and preventive actions.
Process Improvement

Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity. Support implementation of lean manufacturing and 5S practices. Track KPIs such as productivity, downtime, and rejection levels
Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with procurement, stores, QC, and dispatch teams. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Assist management in capacity planning and resource forecasting.
Safety & Discipline

Ensure compliance with safety norms and use of PPE on the shop floor. Maintain discipline, housekeeping, and safe working conditions.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
