Pre, Fine, Very Fine, and HEPA filter manufacturing involves sequential tasks like media pleating, assembly, sealing, and testing, tailored to efficiency ratings (e.g., Pre for coarse particles >5?m, HEPA for 0.3?m at 99.99%). These detailed tasks suit engineers overseeing processes and technicians executing hands-on work in cleanrooms.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Filter Tasks

Cut and perforate synthetic or foam media sheets, then pleat or corrugate into packs using automated machines.? Assemble pleats into metal or plastic frames via riveting or gluing, adding support meshes for structure.? Conduct initial airflow and pressure drop tests, followed by visual inspection and packaging.
Fine/Very Fine Filter Tasks

Form multi-layer non-woven mats from finer fibers (polyester, fiberglass), bond thermally or chemically for density.? Pleat media to specified heights (4.5-50mm), insert into perforated sleeves ultrasonically welded for protection.? Glue end caps with adhesives, test for efficiency (1-5?m capture), and perform routine equipment maintenance.?
HEPA Filter Tasks

Produce glass microfiber media via extrusion, layer into uniform webs, then pleat precisely for maximum surface area.? Assemble with support tubes and dual end caps using gel-seal or PU adhesives to prevent bypass, add rubber seals.? Integrity test via DOP/PAO scan (99.99% at 0.3?m), particle counting, and final leak checks before certification.?
Generic Engineering Task

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for air clean products, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks.? Analyze and optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.? Troubleshoot technical issues on the production line and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.? Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Maintenance) to implement process improvements and new technologies.? Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), production documentation, and quality control protocols.? Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry-specific requirements (ISO, cGMP, etc.).? Train and guide production staff on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.? Monitor production data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process enhancements.? Liaise with suppliers and vendors to manage the supply chain and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.? Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in cleanroom and HVAC manufacturing.?

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.? Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in HVAC, cleanroom, or air filtration manufacturing.? Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality control methodologies.? Proficiency in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.? Familiarity with CAD software and statistical process control (SPC).? Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.? Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient production processes.?
