Production Engineer

Job brief

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee the manufacturing and assembly of industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing production activities based on confirmed orders, assembling control panels and electronic modules, performing quality checks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

Initiate production only upon receiving confirmed orders from the Sales/Project team. Review technical specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM) for each order. Plan and schedule production activities based on delivery timelines and resource availability. Perform wiring, soldering (DIP and SMD), and integration of hardware with software interfaces. Conduct SFO board testing, FQC (Final Quality Control), and servicing of old boards. Perform functional testing of automation systems before dispatch. Coordinate with the Stores and Purchase teams for timely availability of raw materials and components. Work closely with the Project team for technical clarification. Collaborate with R&D and Software teams for integration and testing of new modules. Communicate with the Service team to ensure readiness for installation and support. Report daily progress, challenges, and updates to supervisors and managers. Prepare manuals and reports related to board testing and newly developed modules.
Requirements

Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. Familiarity with automation components such as PLCs, sensors, displays, and embedded modules. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are needed.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
