Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and result-driven

Production Manager with hands-on experience in electrical panel assembly and sheet metal fabrication.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all production activities to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production operations for electrical panels and sheet metal fabrication. Allocate manpower, machines, and materials efficiently to meet production targets. Monitor production processes and implement improvements for quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. Coordinate with design, purchase, and quality departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion. Review engineering drawings and ensure fabrication and assembly are done as per design and specifications. Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices and 5S standards in the production area. Track production performance metrics (output, downtime, rejection rates) and initiate corrective actions where needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies. Train, guide, and evaluate production team members for skill enhancement and performance improvement. Maintain proper documentation for production schedules, material consumption, and work orders. Collaborate with senior management for capacity planning, process development, and cost optimization.

Required skills:

Strong technical knowledge of electrical panel fabrication, wiring, and assembly processes. In-depth understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques (cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, etc.). Proficiency in production planning, resource management, and process control. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage teams, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / B.E in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Experience in Production / Operations Management required.
