Job Summary:

The

Production Engineer

is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all manufacturing processes to ensure that production targets are achieved efficiently, on time, and within quality and cost standards. The role involves optimizing resources, maintaining process quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute daily production activities to meet customer and dispatch schedules. Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Coordinate with design, quality, and maintenance departments for smooth workflow and timely problem resolution. Optimize manpower, machine, and material utilization to improve productivity. Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and rework. Ensure all production data is recorded accurately and reported in ERP / JobBoss or other systems. Support the introduction of new products, tooling, and process improvements. Maintain shop floor discipline, safety, and housekeeping (5S compliance). Collaborate with the quality team to ensure parts meet customer specifications and quality standards. Drive cost reduction initiatives and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement programs. Support preventive maintenance activities for machines and tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. 2-3 years of experience in a production environment (preferably in a foundry, machining, or fabrication setup). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process flow, and production planning. Familiarity with quality tools (5S, Lean, Kaizen, TPM, etc.). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Good communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., JobBoss or similar). Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in production operations.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
