Job Description

A production engineer

designs, implements, and refines manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

They analyze existing production systems, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, develop new processes using tools like CAD and simulation, and ensure quality control measures are followed. Key Responsibilities:

Process Improvement

: Analyze current production methods to identify inefficiencies and develop strategies for optimization.

System Design

: Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and systems, often using CAD and simulation software.

Quality Assurance

: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications.

Troubleshooting

: Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and production systems.

Safety and Compliance

: Define and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant manufacturing guidelines.

Documentation

: Create and maintain detailed production documentation and reports.

Data Analysis

: Use data to track production figures, monitor staff and equipment productivity, and inform decisions for efficiency.
