Fabrication - Production Supervisor

Planning and organizing Production Schedules

Co-ordinate with Project management for delivery schedule

Assessing Project and resource requirements

Estimating, Negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers

Technical support to outsource vendors and productivity follow up based on internal targets.

Ordered Imported material co-ordination with store department

Plan, direct & co-ordinate the manufacturing process thru sequence of line operations.

Monitor material cost reduction thru identified major areas.

Monitor production efficiency by improving availability on critical machines or power tools.

Monitor productions costs to ensure optimized utilization of internal resources.

Monitor overall equipment efficiency on critical machine or power tools by reducing downtime loss & set up loss

Monitor material cost reduction thru identified major areas.

Monitor and control the inventory

Provide training to shop floor welders to upgrade Multi skill in process like TIG, MIG.

Provide training to shop floor welders to upgrade welding position thru WPS in a period interval of 3 months.

Monitor production process to identify & remove non-value added process, bottlenecks.

Monitor disparities, if any between operating plan & monthly requirements, analyze cause of gap on a continuous basis.

Ensuring that Health and Safety regulations are met

Determining Quality control standards

Sheet metal fabrication or Pressure vessel fabrication Knowledge is essential.

Knowledge of welding processes like MIG is essential. TIG, SMAW will be added advantage.

Knowledge of weld joint design & symbols is essential.

NDT level II, RT, UT, MT, PT is added advantage.

Knowledge of code ASME VIII is essential.

Knowledge of AWS structural welding code - D1.1 - 2006 is essential.

Knowledge of WPS as per ASME IX is essential.

Knowledge of API 1104 code is added advantage.

Knowledge of Robot Programming (Robot : ABB / Power source : Kempi) is added advantage.

Knowledge of Material specifications & standards is essential.

Education & Experience:

DME (Mechanical) with 10 years or more of experience in Fabrication or Manufacturing Industry. BE (Mechanical) with 8 years or more of experience in Fabrication or Manufacturing Industry.

Pay: ?200,000.00 - ?600,000.00 per year
