JOB DESCRIPTION

for Production Engineer

Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate production engineering processes on daily basis to produce quality products. Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production. Monitor and update daily productions and quality control performance records. Allocating work to operators shift wise/day wise. Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately. Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees. Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production. Ensure to work with minimum WIP stock as specified. Ensure the shop floor requirements to comply with IMS and 5S requirements. Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages. Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements. Manage manufacturing documentation required for product manufacturing i.e. revises drawing, BOM, accurate work Liaise with production planner/scheduler for ensuring the released products have adequate BOM and routings Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards. Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities. Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals. Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes. Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability. Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.

Qualification & Experience:

D.M.E with 10+ Years Experience or B.E. (Mechanical) with 6+ Years Experience Good Knowledge in Production Process Good knowledge of ISO Standards, Lean Manufacturing, Time Study Proven track record and working knowledge in

Manufacturing Industry especially

in

Motors, Fans

Ability to manage the Work Force
