About the Role

We are hiring a

Production Engineer

with experience in

stainless steel hose manufacturing

or related mechanical production processes. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, hands-on exposure in production operations, and the ability to work efficiently in rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Process Optimization

Improve manufacturing efficiency using

Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen

, and statistical tools. Reduce process waste and enhance productivity.

Production Planning

Coordinate with planning teams for daily and weekly production schedules based on machine capacity, manpower, and customer demand.

Equipment & Machine Handling

Support preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot CNC-based corrugation and braiding machines.

Quality Control

Perform in-process quality checks and ensure compliance with standards. Investigate defects and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure adherence to

ISO 9001:2015

quality requirements.

Technical Expertise (Mechanical - SS Hose Manufacturing)

Knowledge of stainless steel corrugated hose manufacturing processes. Exposure to TIG welding, end fitting welding, and hose assembly operations. Experience in hydrostatic pressure testing, leak testing, and burst testing. Understanding of SS grades

AISI 304, 316, 321, 316L

.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare SOPs, process routing sheets, BOQ, and production reports. Track and analyze production KPIs.

Cross-functional Coordination

Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, procurement, and logistics teams.

Safety Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety protocols in welding, pressure testing, and metal forming operations. Maintain a safe working environment.

Manpower Management

Allocate and supervise workforce based on operational demands. Ensure smooth execution across shifts.

Technical Skills Required

CNC corrugation & braiding machine operation TIG welding knowledge Pressure & leak testing procedures Engineering drawing interpretation (Assembly drawings, P&IDs) Measurement tools: vernier caliper, micrometer, thickness gauge, braid coverage gauge Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, RCA, SPC SAP / ERP working knowledge
