Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience in

SAW Pipe / Welding Operations

preferred Strong knowledge of

SAW, welding parameters

Key Responsibilities

Daily manpower planning and management for optimum utilization Production planning for cutting, forming, rolling setup, and SAW welding on a daily basis Ensure proper material feeding to all machines to achieve production targets Conduct visual inspection of GMAW & SAW welding before, during, and after welding Prepare welding reports and review cutting, forming, setup, and CO? reports Coordinate with stores for availability of welding consumables and raise/check indents Select consumables as per plate and specification requirements Monitor welding parameters, analyze reports, and guide operators in case of deviations Maintain welder continuation records Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly production review meetings with quality focus Handle and troubleshoot welding-related technical issues Prepare and maintain production documentation for ISO & API internal and external audits Conduct batch-wise testing of incoming flux and wire to assess performance Analyze NDT results daily to minimize repair and rework; implement corrective actions Coordinate with maintenance department for breakdowns and troubleshooting Ensure safety awareness and compliance in all production areas
