Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer/Executive to manage daily manufacturing operations in our modern fastening plant. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in

hot metal forming

, along with strong knowledge of

metallurgy and heat-treatment processes

used in fastener production.

Key Responsibilities

Manage production planning and daily shop-floor operations. Oversee hot metal forming processes (forging, heading, upsetting, etc.). Ensure correct metallurgy parameters and heat-treatment cycles (hardening, tempering, normalizing, annealing). Optimize production efficiency, reduce rejections, and improve product consistency. Work closely with maintenance teams to minimize machine breakdowns. Ensure strict compliance with ISO/IS standards, quality norms, and safety guidelines. Monitor process KPIs and prepare production reports. Train and supervise operators and shift teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy (preferred). Mandatory experience in hot metal forming industries (fasteners, forging, automotive components). Strong understanding of metallurgical properties, material behavior, and heat-treatment cycles. Ability to handle fast-paced production environments and meet targets. Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
