Production Engineer - Precast Construction Industry

Location - Hyderabad, Chennai, Vijayawada, Thiruvallur

Job Summary:

The Precast Production Engineer is responsible for planning,
executing, and monitoring the manufacturing of precast concrete
elements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution

Plan daily, weekly, and monthly precast production schedules based on
project demand
Coordinate with design, detailing, and site teams for approved drawings
Ensure proper mould preparation, reinforcement fixing, inserts,
embeds, and concreting
Monitor curing methods, de-moulding cycles, and storage

Quality Control

Ensure production follows approved shop drawings, mix designs, and
quality standards
Check reinforcement placement, cover, alignment, and tolerances
Coordinate with QA/QC for cube tests, strength monitoring, and inspections
Identify and prevent production defects (honeycombing, cracks,
dimensional errors)

Coordination & Documentation

Maintain production reports, casting logs, pour cards, and checklists
Support erection planning and dispatch schedules

Safety & Resource Management

Ensure compliance with safety standards and plant SOPs
Manage manpower, machinery, moulds, cranes, and batching plant operations
Monitor material consumption and wastage control

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
4-8 years of experience in precast production, planning, and execution.
Strong knowledge of precast production processes, quality control, and
scheduling.
Ability to manage multiple production schedules and meet deadlines.
