POSITION: Production Engineer/Mfg Engineer

3 to 5 years in electronic manufacturing with hands-on experience of assembly line

Location : Pithampur

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: ₹ Design & Validation (Mechatronics - PCB/Electronics & Electromechanical Systems) ? Design, modify, and validate jigs, fixtures, electromechanical assemblies, alignment tools, and test setups required for PCB assembly, electro-mechanical integration, and system-level testing. ? Prepare detailed technical notes, SOPs, work instructions, wiring diagrams, pneumatic/hydraulic schematics (if applicable), assembly instructions, and equipment specification sheets for electromechanical and PCB-related processes. ? Provide technical training and on-floor guidance to operators and technicians on SMT assembly, soldering, PCB handling, ESD safety, cable harnessing, mechanical assembly, actuator alignment, and sensor calibration procedures. ? Conduct process studies and trials to validate key mechatronic manufacturing parameters -- such as torque settings, actuator response, alignment tolerances, reflow profiles, sensor accuracy, PCB assembly yield, and mechanical fit/finish checks. ? Lead process improvement initiatives using mechatronics principles (automation, sensor integration, error-proofing, fixture redesign, feedback control improvements), and drive reductions in cycle time, defects, and rework. ? Prepare and maintain validation and quality documentation including DVP&R, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, test reports, calibration records, and system-level validation sheets for electromechanical subsystems. ? Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, electronics, firmware) to implement engineering changes via the ECR-ECN process, ensuring updates are validated both electrically and mechanically before release to production. ?
