Job Description

Job Brief :

1. Production Planning & Execution

Plan and monitor production schedules for SPM assembly, machining, and testing.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and stores for timely availability of parts, bought-outs, and sub-assemblies.

Ensure on-time delivery of machines as per customer requirement.

Allocate manpower and resources effectively for multiple machine projects.

2. Assembly & Manufacturing Supervision

Supervise machine assembly, wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulics integration.

Ensure proper fitment, alignment, and accuracy during assembly.

Monitor machining of precision components and jigs/fixtures.

Guide technicians during erection and commissioning at customer site.

3. Process Improvement & Cost Control

Optimise assembly processes to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.

Suggest improvements in design for manufacturability and assembly ease.

Minimize rework, rejection, and resource wastage.

Support cost reduction initiatives in fabrication, machining, and bought-outs.

4. Resource & Team Management

Plan and monitor daily tasks for assembly fitters, electricians, and operators.

Train and guide team on machine assembly practices and safety norms.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for outsourced processes.

Ensure proper maintenance and utilisation of tools, lifting equipment, and measuring instruments.

5. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain production logs, machine build checklists, and assembly records.

Support ISO, internal, and customer audits.

Ensure safety standards are followed during assembly and trials.

Prepare project progress reports for management and customers.

6. Customer Support (Pre & Post Dispatch)

Coordinate with the design team during machine trials.

Support customers during machine installation and commissioning.

Provide production-related technical feedback to R&D for future improvements.

Qualifications

BE-Mechanical / Production, Manufacturing or relevant field. Proven work experience as a Production Engineer or similar role. Knowledge of manufacturing process and equipment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of health and safety regulations. Excellent project management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and Auto CAD.

Location: Pirangut, Pune.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?41,500.00 per month
