Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

Production Engineer

to oversee manufacturing processes, optimize production operations, improve efficiency, and ensure high-quality output. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical / fabrication / assembly / engineering production environments, preferably in industrial equipment manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities to meet delivery targets. Monitor production lines and resolve technical or process-related issues. Implement process improvements for cost reduction, efficiency, and quality enhancement. Coordinate with all teams for smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain production reports, process documentation, and shift records. Support new product development and product trials. Ensure adherence to safety standards, ISO procedures, and quality systems. Manage shop-floor manpower, training, and operator skill development. Track production KPIs (yield, productivity, rejection, downtime, etc.). Implement lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering. 4-6 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations. Experience in fabrication, machining, pressure equipment, valves, or fire protection products preferred. Knowledge of production planning and resource management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; SAP experience preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
