Support the R&D team in developing, testing, and improving new products and prototypes.
Operate and manage
press vessels
and other fabrication machinery for product development activities.
Coordinate daily production tasks related to fabrication, assembly, and trial runs.
Prepare fabrication drawings, BOM, and documentation in coordination with design and R&D teams.
Ensure production processes meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues during fabrication and prototype trials.
Maintain production reports, material usage records, and update project status regularly.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support new product development (NPD) activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2-3 years of experience in fabrication/manufacturing
, preferably in an R&D-focused setup.
Hands-on experience with
press vessels
, fabrication tools, welding basics, and workshop machinery.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, material selection, and quality standards.
Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
Additional Preferred Skills:
Experience with prototype development.
Knowledge of safety protocols and ISO standards.
Familiarity with basic CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) will be an added advantage.
