Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE / DEE)

Experience: 1 years to 2 years (Preferred)

(Oil & Gas industry)

Salary range: Rs.16,000 to Rs.25,000(CTC)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated

Production Engineer

to oversee manufacturing processes, improve productivity, ensure quality control, and coordinate daily shop-floor activities. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and experience in production planning and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines.

Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency.

Prepare and maintain production reports, process documentation, and daily records.

Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and design teams to resolve shop-floor issues.

Analyze productivity and suggest process improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization.

Support installation, testing, and commissioning of production equipment.

Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality norms, and company procedures.

Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

Plan manpower, material requirements, and machine utilization.

Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical fundamentals (based on diploma).

Knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, fabrication, assembly, testing.

Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.

Basic knowledge of production tools like 5S, Kaizen, Lean, TPM.

Proficiency in MS Office

Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
