Job Description

Process Design & Optimization

Design and improve mechanical production processes for LED lights, luminaires, reflectors, housings, and other lighting components. Streamline assembly lines to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Select appropriate machinery, tools, and fixtures for mechanical production.

Production Planning

Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality teams to meet production targets. Schedule manufacturing operations to ensure timely delivery of products. Monitor resource allocation (materials, manpower, machines).

Quality Control

Ensure mechanical components meet design specifications and tolerances. Work with the quality team to identify defects (e.g., warping, misalignment, cracks) and implement corrective measures. Perform process audits to maintain consistent mechanical quality.

Technical Support

Assist the design and R&D team to make products manufacturable at scale. Troubleshoot mechanical production issues, such as fitting, assembly, and tooling problems. Evaluate new machinery, tooling, or techniques for potential implementation.

Cost & Efficiency Management

Reduce mechanical production costs while maintaining product quality. Analyze production data and KPIs to improve output. Implement Lean Manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes: die casting, injection molding, metal fabrication, powder coating. Ability to analyze production processes and implement improvements. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and process optimization skills.
