Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day production activities on the shop floor. Monitor production processes and support supervisors in achieving daily production targets. Coordinate with different departments (quality, design, maintenance, and stores) for smooth workflow. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and 5S practices on the shop floor. Maintain proper records of production output, downtime, and material usage. Support in troubleshooting basic machine/process issues under the guidance of senior engineers. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage. Ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources. Assist in implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Qualifications & Skills:

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field. Strong understanding of basic manufacturing processes. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of AutoCAD / MS Office will be an added advantage. Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
