Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet targets and quality standards.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Supervise shop-floor operations and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and stores departments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain production records, reports, and documentation as per company standards.
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules in coordination with the maintenance team.
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and safety norms.
Train and guide operators and technicians to improve efficiency and skill levels.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of production processes and plant operations.
Hands-on experience in factory or plant environments.
Ability to analyze production data and improve processes.
Good leadership and team-handling skills.
Familiarity with safety standards and quality systems.
Basic knowledge of ERP / production reporting systems is an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
5-6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing plant or factory setup.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
