Job Description

Responsible for

- Manufacturing operations at the plant and ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.

- Meeting regulatory requirements

- Compliance to Health, safety and environmental guidelines

- Compliance to process standards

- Regular upkeep and maintenance of facility

- Documentation of processes per SOP

- Operations cost control

- Materials Management

- Inventory control

- Periodic daily/weekly/ monthly reports on operational parameters as above

- Vendor scheduling

- Internal and external communications

- Receipts, Issues and dispatches

- Liaisoning with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.

- Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.

- Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.

- Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.

- Drawing up production schedules for projects.

- Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.

Qualification:

Bachelors in Engineering with 5 years experience in manufacturing or Diploma in Engineering, (in Mechanical, Automobile, Precision manufacturing) from a recognised institute

Other Requirements:

- Experience in Implantable or orthopedic devices is a big plus

- Knowledge of clean room protocols and standards and exposure to working in clean room environment

- Exposure to ISO 13485 is a plus

- Knowledge and Exposure to MDR 2017 guidelines

- Very high commitment to Quality

- Very high commitment to regulatory and HSE compliance

- Team player and good communication skills.

- Ability to interact with vendors and be a go getter.
