Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual who is passionate about improving processes and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:



Process Optimization:

Analyze and identify areas for improvement in our manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. This includes applying principles of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Production Support:

Provide day-to-day technical support to the production team, troubleshooting issues with equipment, machinery, and production lines.

Quality Control:

Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards. Monitor production output to ensure all vehicles and components meet our stringent specifications and quality requirements.

Equipment Management:

Oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment. Work with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of all machinery.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all production activities adhere to company safety policies and regulatory standards for the motor industry. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in the workplace.

Project Management:

Lead or participate in projects related to new vehicle model introduction, process improvements, and equipment upgrades.

Data Analysis:

Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to management.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance, to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality standards.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all production processes, procedures, and equipment.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience with process optimization techniques (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma). Strong understanding of motor manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting. Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience with CAD software, ERP systems, and PLC programming. Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt). Experience with specific manufacturing technologies (e.g., automated assembly, body welding, paint shop operations).

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
