Production Engineer - CRGO Industry

electrical steel Industry / lamination, transformer core lamination, or precision steel processing.

Job Summary

We are looking for Production Engineer will support and optimize the production of CRGO lamination sheets and transformer cores. The role focuses on achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, improving processes, and coordinating with maintenance and quality teams for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and monitoring daily production schedules for CRGO lamination sheets and cores. Ensure production targets are met with minimal scrap and material wastage. Monitor and optimize production processes to improve yield and efficiency. Coordinate with maintenance for smooth operation of slitters, cutters, presses, and annealing equipment. Support quality control by ensuring products meet IEC / IS standards and customer specifications. Maintain production records, reports, and KPIs; analyze trends for process improvements. Participate in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist senior engineers in implementing new production processes or machinery. Support audits, inspections, and technical troubleshooting as required.

Key Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of

CRGO lamination processes

and transformer core production. Understanding of production planning, scheduling, and process optimization. Familiarity with quality parameters such as core loss, burr height, and stacking factor. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, teamwork, and coordination skills. Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement tools is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Production Engineering

. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM are an advantage.
