Position:Production Engineer - Filtration
Location:Kalol - Ahmedabad
Experience:3 - 6 Years
Industries:Engineering
Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities specific to filtration products (e.g. cartridge filters, bag filters, air filters, etc.).
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs related to filter design and assembly.
• Supervise fabrication, assembly, and testing processes of filtration components.
• Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure product compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).
• Optimize production processes to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and control costs.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to maintain continuous workflow.
• Ensure proper handling and usage of specialized filtration media (e.g. membrane, nonwoven fabrics, stainless steel mesh).
• Collaborate with R&D, design, and procurement teams for process improvements and new product development.
• Maintain proper documentation related to production logs, process parameters, rework analysis, and yield improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and other continuous improvement tools.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

• Should understand the customer requirements and be able to solve the additional requirements as required.
• Should be self-driven, capable of taking up challenges and ownership.
• Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees.
• PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
• Good written & oral communication.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical
