Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Engineer to oversee and streamline our interior design manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and coordinating with design, procurement, and site teams to deliver projects on time.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities for interior and modular furniture projects. Prepare and execute production schedules in alignment with project timelines. Coordinate with the design team to understand drawings and ensure accurate execution. Supervise factory/production floor staff and ensure adherence to quality standards. Optimize material usage and minimize wastage through effective planning. Monitor machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure smooth functioning and preventive maintenance. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with company policies. Collaborate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials and hardware. Conduct quality checks at different stages of production and before dispatch. Prepare daily/weekly reports on production output, delays, and improvements. Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of interior fit-outs, modular furniture, and material specifications. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and production layouts. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, CNC, panel processing, and finishing techniques. Leadership and team management skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or related field. 3-6 years of experience in interior design or modular furniture manufacturing. Experience in factory / workshop-based production management.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
