to join our fabrication team. In this role, you'll help plan and oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring our structural steel products are made accurately, efficiently, and on time. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute daily production activities based on job orders and targets.
Coordinate with design, quality, and stores teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor fabrication processes to maintain productivity and reduce delays.
Ensure all work is carried out as per technical drawings and fabrication standards.
Supervise shop floor staff and assign tasks according to production needs.
Track material usage, minimize waste, and report discrepancies.
Ensure proper utilization of machines, tools, and manpower.
Identify production issues and resolve them in coordination with maintenance and QA teams.
Maintain production records, reports, and logs for internal tracking.
Promote safety and ensure compliance with workplace safety protocols.
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
What We're Looking For:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
2-5 years of experience in production, preferably in structural steel fabrication or heavy fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Strong organizational and team coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office, production planning tools, or ERP systems.
A practical, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
Experience working with CNC machines, plasma cutting, or welding setups.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or process improvement tools.
Exposure to ISO standards or quality systems.
