Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled

Project Engineer

with 3-7 years of experience in

mechanical fabrication

to plan, coordinate, and execute fabrication projects from design through delivery. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical fabrication projects from kickoff to completion Review engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure fabrication feasibility Coordinate with design, production, quality, procurement, and site teams Prepare project schedules, work plans, and progress reports Ensure compliance with fabrication standards, codes, and customer requirements Monitor material procurement, fabrication progress, and resource utilization Identify risks and implement corrective and preventive actions Supervise fabrication activities including welding, machining, assembly, and finishing Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and inspection plans Support client interactions, technical clarifications, and project meetings Maintain proper project documentation and records
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of mechanical fabrication processes and methods Experience with structural steel, pressure parts, piping, or heavy fabrication (as applicable) Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and standards Familiarity with welding processes, WPS/PQR, and inspection techniques Proficiency in project planning, coordination, and execution Basic knowledge of QA/QC, safety standards, and industry codes Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 3-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical fabrication projects

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
