About this Opportunity We\'re looking for a Sr. Production Designer to work on & oversee packaging production design for Target\xe2\x80\x99s owned brands. You will collaborate with a team of art directors, production designers, project managers and separator partners and apply production execution rules to all work, layouts and print ready files while ensuring quality and accuracy of work. There will be partners in MPLS with whom you will have to liaise, collaborate, and communicate with on a regular basis. You will also drive continual improvements by defining quality standards and best practices, take the initiative to address critical issues as well as participate and lead special projects that will impact the larger organization. Roles and Responsibilities

• Having a strong understanding of packaging design and print production
• Collaborate within and outside of teams to understand project and business requirements and help translate them into effective solutions
• Be able to contribute and lead projects along with art directors, production designers, project managers
• Organize and plan details for multiple projects and make timely and quick decisions to meet project deadlines
• Maintain and organize files and project materials
• The ability to see projects through from inception to production

• Capable of working within a fast-paced work environment and work on multiple projects at one time
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as follow creative direction
• Ability to take direction and be flexible and open to change

• Minimum 5+ years at a Advertising/Design agency
• A completed 3/4-year college degree
• Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth of design capabilities, particularly in print & packaging design
• Understanding of all Adobe creative tools and experience with image compositing
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong printing & prepress knowledge
