Job Summary

We are seeking a

Design Cum Production Engineer (Interior Design)

responsible for converting interior design concepts into

accurate shop drawings, production planning, and execution

. The role ensures smooth coordination between

design, factory production, and site installation

, delivering projects on time and as per quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical Responsibilities

Prepare

shop drawings, working drawings, and detailed execution drawings

for interior projects Develop

2D & 3D drawings

for furniture, joinery, partitions, ceilings, and fixtures Coordinate with designers to convert

concept designs into production-ready drawings

Prepare

BOM (Bill of Materials)

and material specifications Revise drawings based on site conditions and client feedback

Production & Factory Coordination

Plan and monitor

production schedules

for interior items (furniture, fixtures, panels, etc.) Coordinate with

carpentry, metal, paint, polish, and finishing teams

Ensure drawings are executed correctly on the shop floor Monitor

material consumption, wastage, and productivity

Conduct

quality checks

during manufacturing stages

Site & Installation Support

Provide

technical support to site teams

during installation Resolve design and production-related issues at site Coordinate with project managers for smooth handover Ensure installation matches approved drawings and quality standards

Quality, Cost & Documentation

Maintain

design and production documentation

Assist in

cost control and value engineering

Ensure adherence to

company quality standards and timelines

Prepare production and progress reports for management

Required Skills

Proficient in

AutoCAD (mandatory)

Knowledge of

SketchUp / SolidWorks / 3ds Max (preferred)

Strong understanding of

interior materials, furniture construction & finishes

Knowledge of

factory production processes

Good coordination and communication skills

Preferred Industry Experience

Interior Fit-Out (Retail / Commercial / Corporate) Furniture Manufacturing Modular Furniture / Custom Joinery
