Position: Production Chemist

Departments: Tablet / DPI / Liquid Injection

Experience: 0-2 Years

Location: Rau, Indore

Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc (Chemistry) / M.Sc (Chemistry)

1. Job Purpose

To assist in carrying out routine production activities in the manufacturing section (Tablet / DPI /

Liquid Injection) as per GMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance, quality, and

timely completion of production batches.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Production Operations

? Execute daily production activities as per Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).

? Assist in granulation, compression, coating (Tablet), filling & sealing (DPI),

compounding and aseptic filtration (Liquid Injection).

? Operate basic machines under supervision (e.g., FBD, RMG, Compression machine,

Capsule filling, Filling line, Autoclave).

? Monitor critical parameters and record observations in logbooks.

? Ensure correct weighing, dispensing, and handling of raw materials.

B. Compliance & Documentation

? Maintain production documents such as BMR, BPR, logbooks, and cleaning records.

? Follow cGMP, GDP, and safety regulations at all times.

? Support preparation of deviation reports, line clearance documents, and in-process

checks.

C. In-Process Quality Checks

? Perform in-process checks: weight variation, hardness, friability (Tablet), fill weight &

leakage test (DPI), volume check & integrity test (Injection).

? Report any abnormalities to the Production Officer immediately.

D. Cleaning & Maintenance

? Ensure cleaning and sanitization of equipment, rooms, and utilities as per SOP.

? Assist in preventive maintenance activities and machine readiness.

E. Coordination

? Coordinate with QA, QC, Maintenance, and Warehouse for smooth production flow.

? Assist during audits and inspections by providing required data and records.

3. Required Skills

? Basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

? Knowledge of cGMP / GDP.

? Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures.

? Good communication and observation skills.

? Willingness to work in shifts.

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
