The Manufacturing Technician operates machines and production equipment independently in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for meeting daily production targets, conducting internal audits (e.g., 5S, LPA), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The technician may also instruct or coach others and is expected to uphold quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
Immediately stop work and report any major injury hazards.
Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Promote a culture of interdependence and safety awareness.
Identify and correct hazards within scope of control.
Minimize environmental impact through responsible work practices.
Participate in HSE training and initiatives.
Quality
Follow standard work procedures, process documentation, and quality protocols (e.g., SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards).
Perform quality inspections and manage non-conforming materials.
Raise issues proactively to minimize cost and quality risks.
Support internal audits such as 5S and Layered Process Audits (LPA).
Delivery
Operate equipment independently to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer specifications.
Achieve production goals and maintain required cycle times or engineering standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine housekeeping and machine care.
Perform planned operator maintenance and support equipment troubleshooting.
Remain flexible and perform additional duties as needed to meet production targets.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
Proficient in using QC tools and techniques.
Knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis).
Experience with CFS & CES assembly and testing.
Familiarity with cobot and robot operations.
Knowledge of welding types and processes.
Ability to troubleshoot machine breakdowns.
Experience in handling assembly production lines.
Understanding of TBWS culture and NC Management processes.
Awareness of reuse guidelines and sustainability practices.
Digital Proficiency
Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Oracle systems.
