The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring adherence to quality and productivity standards. The role involves working with welding cells, robotic systems, and automation technologies under direct guidance, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately.
Report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Promote a culture of safety and interdependence.
Correct hazards within control and capability.
Minimize environmental impact through responsible work practices.
Participate in HSE training and initiatives.
Quality:
Follow standard work procedures and quality documentation.
Raise issues to minimize cost and quality risks.
Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials.
Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout production.
Delivery:
Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products.
Meet production goals and maintain required cycle times.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine housekeeping and machine care.
Perform planned operator maintenance tasks.
Support equipment repair and maintenance with peers and skilled trades.
Teamwork & Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members and support staff.
Complete required training and personal development.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and process efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
