Role Objective

To support the Production Manager in ensuring

planned production output, consistent quality standards, cost efficiency, and disciplined shop-floor operations

in line with the company's manufacturing systems and strategic objectives, while being passionate about achieving world-class sofa manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in

production planning, scheduling, and execution

to meet delivery commitments. Ensure

optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials

across all production sections. Monitor shop-floor operations to maintain

productivity, quality, and process compliance

. Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Purchase, and Maintenance teams for uninterrupted production flow. Control

material wastage, rework, and production losses

. Enforce

SOPs, safety norms, and housekeeping standards (5S)

. Support workforce management including

discipline and performance monitoring

. Prepare and submit

production performance reports and improvement recommendations

to management.

Authority & Accountability

Accountable for

daily production performance

against approved plans. Responsible for maintaining

quality benchmarks and cost controls

within assigned operations. Authorized to recommend

process improvements, manpower deployment, and corrective actions

.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Production / Mechanical / Industrial or equivalent). Proficiency in

Hindi, English and Tamil

(mandatory).

Minimum 5 years of experience

in an organized manufacturing setup, preferably in

SOFA

manufacturing. Proven exposure to

structured production systems, SOP-driven operations, and team supervision

.

Compensation & Benefits

Monthly Gross Salary:

?40,000 - ?50,000 plus incentives.

Food facility

shall be provided at the factory premises.
