About the Role:

Generate a 3D model with accurate measurements, fine detailing, ensuring compatibility & functionality with the Model Inspector tool. Surface manager & Section manager tool: Must create proper Dynamic animated model using surface drawings. Modeling: Better understanding of topology flow, to create clean, optimized meshes and edge loops to ensure models deform, animate & render correctly. Ability to model objects to real-world scale, ensuring accurate proportions and sizes for practical use on web- based render engines. Unwrapping: The model should be accurately unwrapped according to the surface drawings, aiming to minimize texture stretching and distortion. This involves creating clean UV islands and ensuring an even distribution of texel density across the UV map. Animation: Proficient in setting keyframes to define object positions, rotations, scale, understanding of timing and pacing to create animations with realistic motion and appropriate speed. Knowledge of easing functions and interpolation techniques to create smooth transitions between keyframes. Skillful in animating non-character objects, Packaging products & Promotional products. Texturing & Materials: Ability to map textures onto 3D models and blend multiple textures seamlessly using techniques like layering, masking, and blending modes. Good understanding of material properties, able to create diffuse maps, Bump map, specular maps, roughness maps, normal maps. Lighting & Camera: Good understanding of lighting principles, including light intensity, shadow creation, knowledge of various lighting techniques such as three-point lighting, HDR lighting, Studio light setup. Proficient in camera placement, framing, and composition to create visually appealing shots. Rigging: Basic understanding of non-organic rigging. Skillful in placing joints strategically, better understanding in skinning or binding the mesh to the bone, to mimic the natural movement and articulation of objects, ensuring smooth and realistic deformations during animation. Quality Assurance: Maintain consistency and compliance with brand guidelines for all 3D models. Ensure the final output meets the required standards in terms of visual fidelity, functionality, and overall user experience. Ability to understand and adhere to technical
specifications provided for the project and having a meticulous eye for detail is crucial to spot any inconsistencies, errors, or imperfections in the model or animation.

What you will do:

Daily responsibilities will entail creating 3D models based on provided measurements & surface drawings, encompassing tasks such as Hard Surface Modeling and Low Poly Modeling. Additionally, you will be tasked with unwrapping 3D models and applying UV Mapping to generate customized views, as well as texturing and animating models is necessary, ensuring smooth operation on the Vortex tool. Strong conceptual and execution skills are essential. Understanding Business guidelines and functional requirements is vital for the Artist to produce customized 3D models for specific commercial or promotional purposes, including Packaging products, Promotional products, Photo products, and Garment products. Gather feedback from the team lead to incorporate necessary adjustments and revisions to 3D models. Ability to contribute independently and collaboratively to ensure timely project completion with a focus on prioritizing the delivery of top-notch results. Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in 3D workflow and continuously improve their skills to deliver
high-quality work.
Collaborate with Artists and Team lead to understand project requirements and deliver high quality results that align with the business guidelines.

Qualifications:

0-3 years' experience working as 3D Artist in a Design studio, Design cell of a corporate or ecommerce portal, Animation studios or Architectural firms. Must possess a strong portfolio that demonstrates high-quality 3D work in both the Indian and global context. Excellent working knowledge of Autodesk 3Ds Max, Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator, Surface manager & Section manager, Render engines like Arnold, V-ray or Cycle. Familiarity with Autodesk 3Ds Maya, After Effects, Zbrush, Unity, and Substance Painter will be an added advantage. Skilled in Product designing, Product modeling, Unwrapping, Hard Surface Modeling, Low Poly Modeling and Animation. Basic Understanding of Texturing, Materials, Lighting, Camera, Simulation, Rigging and Rendering techniques. Knowledge of packaging products, technical drawings, various folding techniques, printing methods, and awareness of Safety lines, cutting lines, and bleed 3Ds Max: Good understanding of Editable poly options, Editable spline options, modifiers, Hierarchy tab, Unwrapping & Animation. Basic understanding of Texture, Materials, Lights, Camera, Rendering properties & Animation Blender: Good understanding of Object tab, Edit mode, Sculpt mode, Add tab, Output properties, View layer properties, scene properties, world properties & collection properties Photoshop: Good Understanding of Photoshop tools, Adjustment panel & Blending modes. Illustrator: Knowledge of Illustrator tools, File export formats including PDF Presets, Print Properties, SVG properties. Attentive to detail in Mesh flow, Product detailing, Design principles, concepts, alignment, and visualization Ability to work with a quick turnaround time while maintaining the quantity without compromising quality.
