Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Production Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the manufacturing and technical handling of pressure gauges, diaphragm seals, differential gauges, and associated instrumentation products.
Strong background in working with process industry clients including oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, and refinery sectors.
Exposure to production environments with high variability and customization demands.
Production & Technical Expertise:
Sound understanding of pressure gauge manufacturing processes
Experience in planning and supervising daily production activities, ensuring timely order execution with quality adherence.
Capable of troubleshooting technical issues on the shop floor related to performance, accuracy, or design-fit issues.
Strong understanding of critical applications such as high-pressure, cryogenic, or corrosive media instrumentation.
Process Control & Optimization:
Proficient in preparing and reviewing production routing sheets, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production KPIs.
Experience in capacity planning, manpower allocation, cycle time reduction, and productivity improvement.
Customer and Technical Support:
Able to interpret technical drawings and client specifications; coordinate with design and quality departments to ensure conformity.
Provide technical support during client inspections (third-party, EPC, OEMs) and ensure compliance with inspection & testing protocols.
Interface with customers for resolving technical clarifications and custom modifications.
Standards & Compliance:
Familiarity with industry standards like ASME, EN, ISO, DIN, IS, and ANSI for pressure instrumentation.
Knowledge of hydro testing, calibration processes, traceability, and documentation practices as per ISO 9001 QMS.
Compliance with IBR, PED, ATEX, or CE requirements for manufacturing and testing, where applicable.
Leadership & Coordination:
Lead a team of technicians and production supervisors; responsible for shop floor discipline, quality output, and safety adherence.
Coordinate with purchase, stores, and QA/QC departments for smooth workflow and inventory control.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
