The Product Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering product training programs for sales teams, service teams, distributors, retailers, and internal staff. The role ensures that all channel partners clearly understand product features, technical specifications, benefits, and competitive advantages to improve sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Training Delivery
Conduct training sessions for sales teams, promoters, dealers, and service staff on product features and benefits.
Provide training during new product launches across regions.
Train service teams on technical features, troubleshooting basics, and key product USPs.
Conduct both online and offline training sessions.
2. Training Content Development
Create training materials such as PPTs, videos, manuals, FAQs, and demo scripts.
Develop product comparison charts against competitor models.
Prepare feature explanation guides for frontline sales promoters.
Work with marketing to create product collaterals.
3. Coordination with Product & R&D Teams
Understand product specifications, hardware, features, OS/UI, and technical aspects.
Collect inputs from product development, QC, and R&D teams.
Update training modules based on firmware changes or feature upgrades.
4. Sales Enablement
Conduct field visits to check training effectiveness and promoter performance.
Address product-related queries from sales and channel partners.
Ensure all teams are aligned on USPs, key selling points, and competitive advantages.
5. Training Quality & Assessment
Perform knowledge assessments and track trainee performance.
Ensure consistent training quality across all regions.
Maintain training attendance, feedback forms, and reporting MIS.
Monitor effectiveness through sales improvement and reduction in product returns due to misuse.
6. Product Launch Support
Participate in pre-launch readiness by training internal teams and customers.
Train on new OS/platform updates like Google TV, Jio TV OS, Android TV, Smart OS, etc.
Support marketing in product demos during events and exhibitions.
7. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain training calendar, schedule, and weekly/monthly reports.
Track training completion and product knowledge status across regions.
Document FAQs, product notes, and technical guides.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong presentation and communication skills.
In-depth product knowledge of electronics (LED TV, appliances, mobile, etc.).
Ability to simplify technical concepts for sales & service teams.
Good command of MS Office (PPT, Excel).
Confidence in public speaking and conducting group sessions.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Ability to create engaging, easy-to-understand content.
Qualifications
Graduate / Diploma in Electronics or related field (preferred).
3-7 years of experience in product training or sales training.
Experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, or telecom industry preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Training coverage across regions/channel partners.
Feedback & effectiveness scores.
Reduction in product misuse or installation errors.
Improved sales conversion after training.
Timely delivery of training materials for new launches.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
