Job Description

This role is for a Product Support Specialist for Crusher Wears.



Working in the product management team in Crusher Wears supporting the crusher wear analysis, taking and processing scan data and delivering CAD documents and wear reports to product support and engineering team. This role is responsible for the support of our Crusher Wears. The position will preferably be in India.



JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Responsible for creating and analyzing Scans and Wear reports

Responsible for supporting complex proposals and sales for defined technology in the determined geographical region.

Responsible for coordinate and develop data collection and scanning processes globally.

Optimization technical presentations, coordination with Tier 3 group. Collection of data and process information (including use of 3D scanner for data collection)

Ensures timely progress of scan data processing to an CAD document

Understand how crusher and crusher wears works in order to successfully prepare wears analysis reports

Product Support duties and other topics assigned by product management



ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



Bachelor of Engineering / Metallurgy OR Several years proven ability in the Mining Industry

Technical orientation, and familiarity with metallurgy and/or mechanical equipment and process

AutoCAD, NX, PolyWorks and / or other relevant CAD software packages

Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle licence and passport

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent time management, analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.



SKILLS AND ABILITIES



Ability to travel with short notice - the role could require 25 - 50% travel.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Understanding of the crushing process

Ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
