Job SummaryProduct Specialist - Retail Payments with a strong background in API development and microservices architecture along with deep expertise in retail banking project delivery.
The ideal candidate will drive the delivery for all the initiative assigned to the squad and lead the squad, delivery ensuring compliance with security and governance standards with fostering innovation and efficiency in digital payment solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture & Engineering Excellence:
1. Design robust API-driven microservices solutions for retail cross border and domestic payments, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
2. Define end-to-end solution architecture for payment applications, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technology solutions.
4. Ensure seamless integration of payment systems with other banking platforms and third-party services.
5. Conduct performance optimization and implement best practices to enhance reliability and scalability.
6. Hand on experience with VISA, MasterCard Card, Remittance and other national domestic Payments requirement.
Governance, Security and Compliance:
1. Identify and implement security controls by collaborating with Security teams.
2. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and governance policies.
3. Conduct Security impact assessments to mitigate potential risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
4. Ensure adherence to enterprise technology standards and best practices in payment system design and implementation.
5. Responsible for all the backlogs delivery in the squad, circulate the DSR/WSR to stakeholders and raise a risk for any missing timeline or blockers
6. Will be responsible for developing solutions, stake holder management, vendor and financial management, developing project costs, and delivering the developed solutions.
7. Ability to Identifying and managing risks, including developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues
8. Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., waterfall, Agile and other modern approaches to software development)
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
10. Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
11. Excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
12. Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas.
