First Due is seeking a tech-savvy, customer-focused fire and EMS subject matter expert to work as an Implementation Product Specialist. In this role, you will work with Fire & EMS customers to Implement First Due modules, providing industry-leading leadership, guidance, and support as First Due continues to build its best-of-breed end-to-end Fire and EMS platform.
The Role
Act as an Implementation Product Specialist for assigned modules.
Work directly with new customers to efficiently and effectively configure and optimize assigned modules.
Partner with implementation project managers to successfully implement and launch First Due to Fire and EMS customers of varying sizes and complexities.
Stay educated on module functionality, configuration, and industry best practices, including compliance requirements.
Provide guidance on standards to both customers and First Due's product management team.
Maintain a full understanding of the features being developed in current and future sprints as well as the product roadmap.
Document product gaps arising during implementation and work with product management to ideate potential solutions, especially in relation to compliance requirements.
Participate in regional and national user group meetings both virtually and in person.
Develop a deep understanding of competitors' capabilities within the assigned area of the product.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in Public Safety software or operations (preferably in Fire or EMS)
Understanding of Fire/EMS market and standards
Ability to take customer requests, determine the desired end state and provide a straightforward path to the most efficient solution.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional project management skills: ability to manage multiple customer requests and projects simultaneously.
Patient, responsive, supportive, and respectful; adept at presenting, responding to feedback, and reasonably overcoming obstacles.
