Role Overview:As a Product Retention Manager, your mission is to build and scale product strategies that drive customer stickiness, increase lifecycle value, and reduce churn. Working cross-functionally with product, design, marketing, data, and customer success, you'll build experiences that keep our users coming back, especially in global markets. Key Responsibilities:- Analyze user engagement data to identify drop-off points and retention drivers (D1/D7/D30 metrics).- Design and implement personalized in-app experiences and retention flows.- Improve activation and onboarding journeys using behavioral data.- Run A/B tests across the product to validate hypotheses around churn and engagement.- Work with marketing to craft lifecycle communications (email, push, in-app).- Partner with analytics and engineering to automate retention reporting dashboards.- Collaborate with design to refine UX around high-impact retention features.- Study user segments and cohorts to develop tailored retention strategies. Must-Have Qualifications:- 4+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in B2C apps.- Strong experience in retention strategy, lifecycle engagement, or product growth.- Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Clevertap).- Prior exposure to working with data, user journeys, and behavioral cohorts.- B.Tech/B.E. degree from a reputed institute.- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Nice-to-Have Skills:- Background in gaming or highly engaging B2C consumer tech companies.- Understanding of spiritual, astrology, or wellness-oriented consumer behavior.- Experience working in fast-scaling startups or early-stage growth environments.- Global market exposure, especially in user retention or monetization.- Familiarity with tools like Braze, MoEngage, or Firebase.
