job involves overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Key responsibilities include creating and managing production schedules, monitoring inventory, coordinating with other departments like procurement and sales, analyzing production data, and resolving any issues that arise to meet customer demand within budget.

Core responsibilities

Scheduling and planning:

Create and update production schedules based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and production capacity.

Resource allocation:

Coordinate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure optimal use and availability.

Inventory management:

Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.

Cross-departmental coordination:

Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely raw material delivery, and work with sales and other teams to align plans with demand.

Process monitoring and improvement:

Track production progress, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to improve processes and reduce costs.

Problem-solving:

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or delays that occur during production to minimize disruption.
