Job Description

A Product Photography job involves capturing high-quality, visually appealing images of products for marketing, e-commerce, and advertising by managing shoots, setting up lighting, styling, shooting, and editing photos to meet brand standards and boost sales, requiring skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop), communication, and technical photography. Responsibilities

Planning & Collaboration:

Liaise with marketing/creative teams, understand brand needs, research products, and plan shoot concepts.

Shoot Execution:

Set up lighting, backdrops, props, and arrange products; photograph items using various techniques (macro, lifestyle).

Styling:

Source props, use mannequins, and sometimes hire models to enhance product presentation.

Editing & Post-Production:

Retouch and edit images using software like Photoshop to match brand aesthetics.

Image Management:

Organize, archive, and maintain a database of photographs.

Feedback & Delivery:

Present photos to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and prepare images for print/web.
Requirements

Experience:

Proven experience as a product photographer with a strong portfolio.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in camera equipment, lighting, and editing software (e.g., Photoshop).

Creative Skills:

Strong eye for detail, composition, angles, and styling.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, time management, and ability to work with creative teams.

Education:

Often a degree in photography or a related creative field.

Showcasing product features and details. Creating visually compelling images that drive sales. Ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal across platforms.
