Who you are



As a Product Owner - User Experience, you are passionate about creating intuitive and


impactful digital products that delight users and drive business value. You possess a strong


understanding of user-centered design principles and agile methodologies. You are a


natural communicator, able to articulate product vision, user needs, and technical


requirements clearly to diverse audiences. You thrive in a collaborative environment,


working closely with design, engineering, and business teams to deliver exceptional user


experiences. You are energized by solving complex problems, continuously learning, and


championing the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Last but not least,


you share and live the IKEA culture and values.




For this role, we believe you have:


Minimum 7+ years of experience in product management, with a significant focus
on user experience and digital product development.


Proven track record of defining and delivering successful user-centric products. Strong knowledge of agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban) and experience
working within agile teams.


Extensive experience in user research, data analysis, and using insights to inform
product decisions.


Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate complex business and user needs into clear, actionable user
stories and acceptance criteria.


Formal qualifications in a relevant field such as Product Management, Human

Computer Interaction, Design, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical


experience.

Your responsibilities



You will be accountable for maximizing the value of the product for users and the business,


with a strong emphasis on user experience. You will drive the product development


lifecycle from discovery to delivery, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of every


decision.


You will:


Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with
overall organizational goals and a focus on delivering outstanding user experiences.


Own and meticulously manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and user
stories based on value, business objectives, and user needs.


Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, researchers, engineers, and business
stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into detailed user stories and


acceptance criteria.


Champion user research and data-driven insights, incorporating UX experiments
and feedback loops into the product development process to continuously optimize


the product.


Lead sprint planning, reviews, and other agile ceremonies, ensuring clear
communication of requirements and progress within the development team.


Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user experience and product
performance, using data to identify areas for improvement and guide product


evolution.


Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, design teams, and business
stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding and commitment to user-centric


outcomes.


Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in
product management and user experience, providing recommendations for


continuous improvement.
