About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven

Product Owner / Business Analyst

with 3-6 years of experience to define business requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive end-to-end product delivery. The ideal candidate will be strong in

business story writing, backlog management, UAT

, and have a good understanding of

APIs, Postman, and API testing

.

Key Responsibilities1. Product Ownership & Requirement Gathering

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into detailed

user stories

,

acceptance criteria

, and

functional specifications

. Maintain and prioritize the

product backlog

to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and analysis sessions with business users.

2. User Story & Documentation

Write clear, concise, and comprehensive

business & technical user stories

. Prepare

BRDs, FRDs, process flows, wireframes

, and other documentation as necessary. Ensure all user stories meet the

Definition of Ready (DoR)

and

Definition of Done (DoD)

.

3. UAT Planning & Execution

Create UAT plans, test scenarios, and test cases in alignment with business expectations. Coordinate and support business users during UAT cycles. Validate defects, track closure, and ensure smooth go-live.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a bridge between

business teams, tech teams, QA, and design teams

. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily scrums, and retrospectives. Clearly communicate requirements, priorities, and expectations across teams.

5. Technical Skills & API Understanding

Use

Postman

for API functional and regression testing. Analyze API requests/responses, validate workflows, and support development/QA teams. Assist in defining API integration requirements and troubleshoot API-related issues.

6. Delivery & Stakeholder Management

Own the delivery roadmap from requirement to deployment. Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely escalations. Provide regular updates and demos to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-6 years

of experience as a

Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role

. Strong ability to translate business needs into detailed stories and requirements. Hands-on experience with

Postman

and

API testing

is mandatory. Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods, and integration flows. Experience in

Agile/Scrum

methodologies. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with tools like

Jira, Confluence

, or similar. Exposure to workflows, UML diagrams, wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Lucidchart). Experience working with cross-country teams.
