Job Title: Discrete/Plant Simulation Architect Summary: Utilize modular architectures, next-generation integration techniques and a cloud-first, mobile-first mindset to provide vision to Application Development Teams. Work with an Agile mindset to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale. Roles & Responsibilities: o The role of Discrete Event Simulation / Plant Simulation Specialist requires to lead the development of simulation models on Plant/production, logistic or warehouse systems processes The Specialist needs to perform What-If scenario and do analysis to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and provide solutions to improve current plant performance and validate future states/ scenarios. Pioneering with the latest technology innovations and learning constantly by investigating next tech in horizon. o Technical Experience: Experience in creating material flow simulation, Throughput simulation, Bottleneck analysis, Resource optimization, Inventory reduction and optimization. o Simulation Models Discrete Event Simulation software for modeling and simulation- Tecnomatix/Siemens Plant Simulation V11, Anylogic or Flex Sim o Industry Experience/ Knowledge of Automotive, Consumer, Retail Industry, Plant and production system knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: Must have Skills: o Simulation Modeling o Object oriented programming language Statistical analysis - C, C, MS Excel VBA. o Unity, Unreal Engine, Omniverse, VBS or similar 3D engine expertise. o Experience with cutting-edge XR devices such as Varjo XR-4, Apple Vision Pro o Experience with 3D workflows such as CAD modeling, 3D modeling. o Knowledge of several programming languages (C++, Java, Python) o Knowledge of distributed simulation standards / protocols (HLA, DIS, C2SIM) o Strong written communication, oral and interpersonal skills. o Demonstrated ability to handle customers and deliver results when working in cross-functional teams. o Strong knowledge in shop floor and discrete industry experience - automotive, consumer goods etc. Good to Have Skills: o Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language, Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. Additional Info: o Strong techno functional domain expertise o Candidate should have a minimum 12-15 years of experience o A BTech/BE - Mechanical, Industrial engineer is required. o This position is based at Bengaluru location
