Job Description

MRI Software is currently seeking a Product Owner to join our Product Management team focused on developing our product. This individual needs to have experience maintaining product backlogs, documentation, and gathering requirements. In addition, the Product Owner is responsible for developing user stories, translating requirements, producing and managing product roadmaps and working with the agile programming teams. This position involves close interaction with other individuals throughout the business including architects, product managers, product development, professional services, and client support.


Responsibilities:May work across multiple related teams; on targeted projects that assist Product Management. Develop and manage metrics dashboards in Jira, and Excel. Position involves close interaction with Product Managers, Solution Managers, Development & QA team members within the product and with other analysts across the business. Completing targeted projects to provide departmental lift.


Skills:Exp: 6-10 years exp required Product owner with strong User story writing experience and can manage backlog, Product roadmap and priorities. Knowledge of APIs and Databases is an additional advantage Experience with building reports and dashboards in Excel. Experience with Jira is must and with Power BI is a plus. Working on Web and Mobile Applications as Product Owner is must. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong and effective organizational skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects. Ability to work well individually and within a cross-functional team. Effective time management & communication skills. Develop and manage metrics dashboards in Jira, and Excel. Good knowledge of Agile, Kanban, Scrum is necessary. Writing requirement in the form of Story in Jira. Need to conduct Scrum ceremonies like Backlog grooming, Sprint Planning, Retrospective.

Education:Bachelor's/master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related area
