Job Description

1. Understand Customers & Market

Research user needs, problems, and behaviour Collect feedback from users, sales, and support teams Study competitors and market trends

2. Define Product Vision & Strategy

Set the long-term vision and goals for the product Decide

what problem the product should solve

Align the product with business goals

3. Plan & Prioritize Features

Create and manage the

product roadmap

Decide which features to build first (prioritization) Write clear product requirements or user stories

4. Work with Cross-Functional Teams

Collaborate with

engineering, design, marketing, and sales

Answer questions and clarify requirements during development Ensure everyone understands what is being built and why

5. Oversee Product Development

Track progress of product development Make trade-off decisions (time vs scope vs quality) Participate in sprint planning and reviews (in agile teams)

6. Launch & Go-to-Market

Plan product launches and feature releases Coordinate with marketing and sales teams Prepare launch messaging and documentation

7. Measure & Improve Product Performance

Define success metrics (KPIs) Analyse data and user feedback after launch Continuously improve the product

8. Act as the Product Owner

Be the main decision-maker for product-related questions Represent the voice of the customer Ensure the product delivers value to users and the business
