Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)Product Strategy & Planning



Define the overall product vision and roadmap.

Conduct competitive research, market trends, and consumer behavior analysis to finalize product categories and collections.

Define seasonal or core range plans, ensuring innovation and alignment with brand identity.

Product Development & Selection



Finalize materials, product specifications, sizes, finishes, and styles.

Work closely with sourcing, R&D, and factories to develop prototypes and ensure product quality.

Decide which products go to market after sampling and internal approvals.

Packaging & Branding



Lead packaging design and development that aligns with the brand story.

Finalize packaging materials, aesthetics, cost efficiency, and sustainability targets.

Coordinate with design and printing vendors for quality and timelines.

Pricing & Positioning



Create pricing architecture based on target margins, cost of goods, and competition.

Identify hero SKUs, entry price products, and premium variants.

Ensure pricing justifies perceived value and supports premium brand positioning.

Vendor & Sourcing Coordination



Identify and finalize key vendors, manufacturers, and packaging suppliers.

Maintain TATs, negotiate MOQs, and ensure production timelines are met.

Inventory & Launch Readiness

Define launch timelines, product drops, and SKU count per collection.

Coordinate with merchandising and logistics to ensure inventory readiness before campaigns.

Cross-Team Collaboration



Work closely with:

- Marketing team: for product storytelling, naming, and launch campaigns

- Visual/design team: for product photoshoots, packaging visuals

- Sales/channel team: for feedback and on-ground insights

Performance Tracking & Iteration



Track product sales, returns, and reviews to identify successful SKUs and low performers.

Use data to guide next product iterations and end-of-life decisions.

Key KPIs



Timely launch of product collections

% sell-through of new launches (within X days)

Gross Margin % across categories

Packaging cost vs. benchmark

. Customer satisfaction (ratings, reviews, returns)
