Designation: Product Manager

Overview: Truckrr is looking for a dynamic and competent product manager to create an eco-system and develop the best marketplace and SaaS product for the road transport industry.

As a Product Manager, you will work closely with engineering, design, and business development teams to define the product strategy, features, and roadmap to address on-ground transportation industry challenges. You will own the full product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, feedback collection, and ongoing improvement, while leveraging Agile methodology to ensure effective and timely delivery.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Statistics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in managing web and mobile products with a background in product management or engineering.

3+ years of experience in building enterprise SaaS products.

Proficiency in using product and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Experience in domains like Telematics, IoT, AI/ML, logistics, supply chain, or transportation is a plus.

Excellent analytical skills and experience using analytics tools to understand product performance and user behaviour.

Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with an eye for user experience and intuitive design.

Highly organized, self-starter, and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap aligned with customer needs and company objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.

Lead Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive efficiency and collaboration within the team.

Use tools like JIRA for sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and incorporate findings into product requirements.

Design and iterate on user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, iteration, and retirement.

Define and monitor metrics to measure product performance and user satisfaction.

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure successful product positioning, promotion, and customer onboarding.

Communicate product goals, plans, and progress to stakeholders and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Work closely with external partners, such as government bodies, FASTag providers, and financial institutions, to manage technical and commercial integrations like APIs, commissions, and SOPs.

Document and maintain product requirements, PRDs, user stories, and other key deliverables.

Continuously monitor emerging trends and customer feedback to propose new product features and enhancements.
