Job Overview:
Develop and implement marketing activities in South Asia which drives and increases awareness, consumer demand, market share and professional recommendations for Cochlear's technologies. The position will be responsible in growing the hearing implant market and retaining market leadership, two of our four strategic pillars.

Accountabilities:
Accountability 1: Demand GenerationDevelop & execute the DTC (Direct to customer) strategy for candidates
Drive demand generation from candidates through raising awareness and using various on-ground activities
Work closely with the field team to drive the demand generation activities and managing leads on SFHC
Build a system/process flow to manage this process effectively
Candidate funnel management on SFHC
Map the entire candidate journey and develop appropriate strategies to improve their experience and shorten the decision-making cycle
Work closely with the field team in identifying and establishing new clinicians to build the CI infrastructure for the country
Accountability 2: Product ManagementProject manage the introduction of new products and obsolescence of older products (cochlear implant systems)
Work with APAC Marketing, South Asia Finance, Clinical and other cross-functional teams to develop appropriate product pricing, configuration and positioning
Develop & execute new product launch plans for both internal and external stakeholders
Develop launch content modules for internal team and clinicians and drive its adoption by working closely with the field team
Drive consumer (candidate) awareness of new product offering
Ensure that the field team is enabled with all the information and tools required for effective selling of our products through regular internal training sessions
Have an in-depth understanding of our competitors, their products and USP and equip our sales team on competitive rebuttal
Accountability 3: Marketing CommunicationWork closely with the local Marcom person and APAC Marketing on marketing campaigns focused on candidates (Ex: Early intervention, Newborn Hearing Screening etc)
Co-ordinate the development of regional marketing collateral by reviewing and ensure relevance of message and content along with the local Marcom person and clinical team
Review and develop communications to support local events and activities
Support Marketing Communication plan and initiatives across the geography, in coordination with local agencies & vendors and ensure availability of marketing collateral for all clinics
Ensure availability of appropriate marketing materials across all touchpoints (digital, social, in-clinic, for events etc)
Accountability 4: Event ManagementPlan, organize, execute and manage events including tradeshow, customer and partner events, industry events and other corporate events, ensuring high profile of Cochlear
Work with practice areas to develop and manage content, speakers and supporting materials along with the clinical team
Organize and plan educational programmes to drive awareness and consumer demand
Coordinate with the internal team / external suppliers for logistics needs for launches, conferences, etc
Manage inventory of marketing communication material and merchandise, updating database, videos, image libraries, monitoring stock levels, re-printing collateral, ordering, storage, maintaining collateral lists and records with respect to candidates business

Minimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering/science and MBA (Marketing) from a premier institute
8+ years of experience in an MNC with consumer marketing or B2C marketing experience
Willingness to travel up to 2 weeks a month for field work in the country
Ability to leverage customer insights and market trends into marketing programs
Marketing experience in a health, consumer/retail or technology environment will be an added advantage
2 to 3 years of experience in Sales function will be an added advantage
